This Privacy Policy describes how Vibuild ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the Vibuild application ("App"). We are committed to transparency about our data practices.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our own servers.

Vibuild does not have its own backend, cloud infrastructure, or analytics services. The App does not require account creation and does not collect your name, email address, or any other personal identifiers.

The App stores your preferences (such as selected project path, build scheme, and AI provider preference) locally on your device using standard operating system storage (UserDefaults). This data never leaves your device.

When you send a prompt through Vibuild, the macOS server application invokes these third-party AI tools as command-line processes on your Mac. Your prompts, source code context, and related project data are sent to these third-party AI providers according to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

We do not control, intercept, or have access to the data exchanged between your Mac and these AI providers. The AI tools run locally on your Mac and communicate directly with their respective cloud services. We strongly recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any AI provider you choose to use:

You are solely responsible for the data you choose to send to third-party AI services through the App. We recommend not sending sensitive credentials, API keys, personal data of others, or proprietary information you do not wish to share with these providers.

4. Xcode Build Data

When you trigger builds through Vibuild, the macOS server runs xcodebuild and related Apple developer tools locally on your Mac. Build output, error logs, and progress data are transmitted from your Mac to your iPhone/iPad over the local network. This data is not sent to us or any third party (other than the AI providers if you choose to use the "Fix with AI" feature, which sends build error context to your selected AI provider).

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect certain data related to your download and use of the App as described in Apple's Privacy Policy. If you make in-app purchases, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment information.

6. Local Network Access

The App requires local network permission on iOS to discover and connect to the Vibuild macOS server. This permission is used solely for device-to-device communication on your local network. No network traffic is sent outside your local network by the App itself (third-party AI providers accessed by the macOS server component communicate over the internet independently).

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Data Security

Since we do not collect or store your data, there is no user data on our systems to secure. Communication between your iPhone and Mac occurs over your local network. We recommend using a secure, password-protected Wi-Fi network when using Vibuild.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
